Riverwood a Singular Success

The front nine of the par-72 championship golf course flows through heavily wooded terrain, rich in stands of natural pine. The back nine meanders amid salt marsh and wetlands, with no parallel fairways on the course.  Surrounded by lush landscaping and native vegetation, each hole is a challenge, taking advantage of its natural setting.

At the Golf Learning Center you'll find an area specifically designed for practicing approach, chip, and sand wedge shots, as well as an 18-hole putting course. These separate areas enable golfers to practice the use of every club in their bag and enhance all aspects of their game.

The New Beach Club
Reason No. 3 for Riverwood's singular standing is its new, private, custom-built Beach Club, just north of the public beach in Englewood and situated right on the Gulf of Mexico. This exclusive facility is open only to Riverwood property owners.

Membership involves a one-time initiation fee and annual dues. Shuttle transportation is planned for members from Riverwood to the Beach Club several times a day during the season, and private parking for 28 vehicles is also available.

The Beach Club is a 5,500-sq.-ft., cabana-style, wooden structure, housing showers, restrooms, commercial ice machine, chilled drinking water fountain, baby-changing facility, office area and storage.

The huge covered deck, complete with towering palm tree feature, has built-in seating, ceiling fans and plenty of space for dancing and entertaining. Charcoal grills are also provided, along with picnic tables.

An elevated wooden walkway leads directly to the beach, with sand chairs and loungers being provided by the attendant. Access is controlled through membership card operated gates, with coded entry systems protecting the internal facilities.

Centex Homes offers a variety of innovative floor plans. Floor plans include single-family homes, single-family estate homes and twin villas. Riverwood¹s newest enclave, Sawgrass Pointe, offers intimate neighborhoods with lake and nature preserve views.

In addition to many of the popular home designs available in existing neighborhoods, brand-new floor plans are offered, many with a choice of up to three elevations, including some with unique stone treatments.

Seven floor plans are available in the single-family home neighborhoods, ranging in size from 1,800 to 2,453 square feet of living space. The plans include three-bedroom-plus den, two-bedroom, courtyard and two-story homes and feature a screened lanai and two-car garage.

Five floor plans are offered in the estate home neighborhoods, ranging in size from 2,404 to 3,193 square feet of living space. Plans include four-bedroom/three-bathroom plus den, two-bedroom/three-and-a-half-bath, two-story and courtyard homes.

Two floor plans are offered in the twin villa neighborhoods and include a two-bedroom/two-bathroom home with a den and a three-bedroom/two-bath home with a den/optional fourth bedroom. The plans range in size from 1,557 to 1,809 square feet of living space.

Riverwood also offers a wide variety of multi-family and single family rentals, featuring different floorplans and decor styles to choose from.
