Second Golf Course Opened January 2003
The Rees Jones-designed Creek Course is the second layout for Hammock Dunes and opened in January 2003. The all-Green Bermudagrass course is located on a 690-acre parcel just a few miles west of the community. Conservation areas are a major portion of the parcel with 450 acres of wetlands set aside in a conservation easement and will never be developed. Thirteen timber bridges help the golfer negotiate the many wetland areas.

The property has a wide mix of tress including mixed hardwoods, cypress, slash pine swamp forest, mature native oak, palm trees, temperate hardwoods, as well as pristine marsh and creek vistas. A practice area features a double-ended driving range with multiple target greens, practice putting green, short game area with two greens and a 9-hole putting course.
